- What kind of fence do I need?

- What codes or restrictions are there where I live?
Many sub-divisions limit what the homeowner can have installed.
- What kind of material will be used in installing the fence?
As with anything you buy these days there are choices in quality. Chapman Fence uses only top quality materials.
- What kind of warranty comes with the fence?
Chapman Fence gives a five-year labor warranty. The material warranty is based on the manufacturer’s warranty that comes with the type of material used.
- Will you just sell us the material?
Yes. We cater to the do-it-yourselfer with wholesale prices. We will also help explain installation techniques that we have learned in our twenty years.
- Is there anything I need to do before the construction of the fence?
Yes. You will need to purchase any permits that may be required by your county or city. Chapman Fence will give you assistance in the permit application. It is also best if you contact any neighbors that will be affected by your fence installation. This contact may ease any ill will towards your construction. You will also need to get permission from any neighbors that own an existing fence that you want to use or tie onto.
- How soon can the fence be installed?
The minimum time is three business days due to GA law. The Utilities Protection Center (UPC) requires three business days to locate any underground utilities on your property. This must be done even if all utilities are overhead. Chapman Fence will request the utility locate.
- What areas do you service?
We provide fence, gates, gate operators, pools and spa sales and installation services for all of Northeast Georgia and parts of South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. The areas we serve most include Athens, Jefferson, Macon, Commerce, Gainesville, Braselton, Buford, Homer and Watkinsville, Georgia.
